On your first visit to Dr. Sampognaro’s office, you will receive a thorough initial examination, a suggested plan for treatment, along with a full explanation so you can determine which treatment is appropriate for your dental needs and budget. An estimate of the fees and time involved for the treatment options you choose will be provided to you at this time.
Our friendly staff will do everything possible to insure that your visit is comfortable. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral medication, topical creams, music, and TV to ensure your comfort. We practice the concept of “gentle dentistry” which means that we are extra careful and conservative in our techniques. Our caring staff is always attentive and ready to take immediate action to alleviate any discomfort.
CMS Dentistry is committed to your improved oral health. We emphasize and expect our staff to attend continuing education courses that provide information on the newest techniques and products available to improve your overall dental experience. Teamwork and years of training and experience are what define CMS Dentistry as a leader in the dental community.

Initial Visit
For adult patients we feel that the initial appointment should be a comprehensive oral exam. It is important that we have enough time to review your medical and dental history, to check all of your teeth for decay and defective fillings, to examine your mouth for oral cancer and periodontal disease, and to take the necessary diagnostic x-rays.
After the dentist has diagnosed the results of your exam, we will see you for a consultation appointment to discuss our findings and to outline recommended treatment.

Emergency Care
We recognize that emergency situations do arise and we will do our best to respond to you as quickly as possible. If an emergency arises during normal office hours, please call the office as early in the day as you can. We reserve special times for patients with emergency needs, and you will be seen as quickly as possible.
